Need Advice on a problem, relationship, or situation?

Simply ask Simply Me and I will share my insight with you. I'm no Dr. Phil, but I've been through a lot of ish in my life and one of the things that I enjoy doing the most is helping others so feel free to open up and ask whatever it is that's troubling you.

Try this one! You always know my situations are a little jacked up. :) I am talkin to this chick that I have known for at least 5 years. We been talkin for about 2 months now but she is not ready to start any relationship with me. We know so much about each other and she tells me she loves me but is not willing to go further than friendship and dating "right now" We both date other people and we discuss this when we talk to each other, but we never throw it in each others face. I try not to talk about it at all because I dont wanna say the wrong thing and screw up any possible future with her but she asks me every now and again. We were talking today, I went to her job and gave her a teddy bear ((no I wasnt late for Valentine's Day), I took care of her on Valentine's Day) and during out conversation we were talking about marriage and she told me, if I was to propose to her today she would say yes in a heartbeat but yet she dont want a relationship right now. She told me that I am the guy she sees spending her life with and if anyone else that she was dating would ask her that she would tell them no. What do you got for me Fake Dr. Phil? :)

I think someone is bullshitting because you can't be ready to marry someone if they proposed to you today yet not be ready for a relationship. It just doesn't make sense. Either she's lying to you or she's really confused. I think what YOU should do is sit down with her and tell her that she's sending mixed signals right now. Tell her that you don't understand how she can say she's not ready for a relationship but is open to the idea of marriage. Maybe her ultimate goal is marriage and unless she feels she can get that from you, she won't get into a relationship with you. Communication... Seems like you two need a little more of it!

I already told her she confused the shit out of me with that comment! I didnt understand it and she told me "it sounds crazy" I think she just loves the idea of marrying someone like me since I am the total package! :) LOL
