Joy Bryant hit up the first round of NY Fashion Week shows in this silver Missoni Spring ‘09 strapless jumper. The gold low waistband was the perfect “dress up” touch for the loose fit of the jumper. A simple brown clutch and gold bracelet were also great accessory picks.
Sanaa Lathan hit the Essence Women in Hollywood luncheon with a “Ladies Who Lunch” sophistication. The sleeveless dress is by designer Gustavo Cadile. The light chocolate material with an embroidered overlay, topped off with a deep rose belted bow definitely works for the event. She rocked nude platform pumps and a gold Mary Norton clutch.
Jennifer Lopez rarely ever fails. She hosted a fashion line launch for her friend in this white, thigh skimming A.L.C. dress. The long sleeves were slightly rouched for a slightly dramatic effect. And the sky high 6 banded Christian Louboutin gladiator sandals made for an overly dramatic effect. She added in her usual layered gold bangles and a simple white clutch. And it all worked.
And finally, one of our absolute favorite looks of the week. Kerry Washington opted for a straight off the runway Louis Vuitton Spring ‘09 ensemble. A black feathered mini skirt paired with a 3/4 sleeve black tuxedo jacket is glam girl meets sexy chic. The Louis Vuitton gold wide belt with tassels cinched the waist. She paired leopard Louboutin pumps and a black and gold oversized Jimmy Choo clutch to complete the look. Simply fabulous.
